Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the iPixit application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the app. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. User Accounts

You must create an account to use iPixit. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate, current information during registration. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.

3. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all photos and media you upload to iPixit. By uploading content, you grant iPixit a limited, non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and process your content solely for the purpose of operating the platform.

4. Photo Requests & Payments

iPixit operates a bounty-based photo marketplace. Buyers post photo requests with a specified bounty amount. Payment is released to the photographer only after the buyer reviews and approves the submitted photo. iPixit retains a service fee from each completed transaction.

5. Prohibited Content

You may not upload, share, or request content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. Photos must not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.

6. GPS Verification

iPixit uses GPS location data to verify the authenticity and location of submitted photos. Tampering with or spoofing location data is a violation of these terms and may result in immediate account termination.

7. Limitation of Liability

iPixit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to iPixit in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Any pending earnings will be paid out according to our standard payout schedule.

Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: Your name, email address, and profile details provided during registration.
Photos & Media: Images you upload, along with associated metadata such as timestamps and file details.
GPS Location: When you enable "Track Location", we collect your device's geographic coordinates at the time a photo is taken.
Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and app version for diagnostics.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information to provide the iPixIt platform, process payments, verify photo locations, send notifications, improve the app, and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Location Data

Location data is only collected when you explicitly enable the "Track Location" feature. We do not track your location in the background. Your exact address is never shared with buyers — only the general area is shown.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share data only with payment processors for transactions, when required by law, and with trusted hosting providers who are contractually bound to protect your data.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication, and regular security audits.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to delete your account, export your data, update your information, and opt out of location tracking, push notifications, and marketing emails at any time.
